Shipping and Returns

Warranty Returns:

Motorola radios are guaranteed for a period of 1, 2 or 3 years, depending on radio, against mechanical and electrical defects. Kenwood and iCom Radios radios are guaranteed for 2 years against mechanical and electrical defects. If a problem should occur with your product within the warranty period beginning on the date of purchase, please call 1-800-507-6002 to receive an RMA number and information will be provided on how to return your product. Packages arriving without an RMA number cannot be processed, and will be discarded. Once the returned product has been received, it will be replaced within 14 business days.

Defective Returns:

If you received a product that is defective out of the box, please call us at 1-800-507-6002 within the first 10 days, and a RMA number and instructions will be provided. Packages arriving without a RMA number cannot be processed, and will be discarded. We offer two options in handling defective items.

Option 1 - We can advance replace the product by charging your credit card for the replacement amount, and in most cases ship your product the same day. Once the defective product is returned and confirmed defective, a credit will be issued back to your credit card for the same amount charged.

Option 2 - The defective product is returned and confirmed defective. Your replacement product is then processed and will be shipped to you within 2 business days.

Replacement products are always shipped to the customer via Ground delivery.

Returns for Repair:

If your product is past the date of warranty, and is need of a repair. Please call 1-800-507-6002 to receive an RMA number and return instructions. Packages arriving without a RMA number cannot be processed, and will be discarded. When receiving your RMA, please advise us of the products issue, and an estimate will be provided to you. If the product is in need of extensive repair, you will be notified prior to any repairs being made.

Personal Information

We ask you for personal information when you register your order. For example, we may ask you for your e-mail address, your name, company name, address, and credit-card billing information. We use your e-mail address to send shipment confirmation, and to notify you of new product updates and special offers. We use your name and other personal information to identify you as a registered user in order to give you the full benefits of registration including technical support and warranty eligibility. We use your credit card billing information only to obtain payment for our product(s). Payment transactions are done using PayPal encrypted technology. Dateck Corp does not obtain or store ANY credit card information.

For your convenience, all e-mail flyers contain instructions on how to be removed from all future mailings. You may correct factual errors in your personal information or remove your personal information by accessing your customer account. (Note: Customers not registered on our website may not be eligible for warranty replacement parts.)

We will not disclose your personal information except to persons who help us provide our products and services to you. We may provide personal and other information to third parties who work for us, such as companies that verify credit card information or process credit card payments. We do not permit these persons to use this information for any other purpose.
